VOXSPORTS Styles : Win up to 300 SGD in cash and other prizes!

Take part in VOXSPORTS Styles today, a new digital and physical soccer freestyle competition where the world decides if you’re good enough to walk away with sports merchandise and a cash prize of up to 300 SGD!

Rules of the Game : 

1. Players are to submit their entries in the form below with a video URL (either YouTube or Vimeo) of them freestyling with a soccer ball. The freestyle performance cannot be longer than 60 seconds.
2. During the period of the performance, the ball is not allowed at any point to touch the ground or any fixed object except for the player and handheld props that he/she may be using.
3. There is no limit to where the trick can be performed and is wholly up to the imagination of the player. The player may also choose to use any number of soccer balls for the freestyle but the rules will apply to ANY ball that touches a fixed object.
4. Digital tempering of the video is not allowed. In this case, imposition of CGIs, computer generated objects such as usage of green screen etc are strictly forbidden. Color correction and other methods used to increase the quality of the video are acceptable and must be stated in the form above.
5. Players with submissions are required to “like” our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/voxsports
6. Winning styles is based on 2 components. The first component is popular vote, where friends and family of the player must “like” the submitted video on VOXSPORTS and vote accordingly on the published VOXSPORTS Styles page. The second component is a judging phase where our panel of expert judges spanning from across the industry and from the soccer clubs will convene and judge the entries based on criteria set forth in the entry form. Each component accounts for 50% of the total score and will be taken into due and fair consideration in finding the winner. Each voter is limited to one vote per player and one like per player.

Terms and conditions :

1. All entries must be accompanied with proper email addresses and mobile numbers.
2. VOXSPORTS Styles 2012 is an open tournament and is open to all age groups. For those below 18, parental permission must be sought.
3. Submitted video links must not be older than 7 days from the date of submission. Entries not adhering to this rule will be disqualified immediately.
4. Players are allowed to submit as many freestyle videos as they want as long as they adhere to the rules and regulations of the game.
5. The closing date for all entries is April 15th 2012 and the winners will be announced on May 3rd 2012 at 1500 hours.
6. All winners are required to attend the final day of the VOXSPORTS Five’s Futsal tournament and will be required to perform their freestyle tricks for a time of not longer than 60 seconds in front of a live crowd. Details of this will be provided for the winners.
7. The prize breakdown is as follows : First place (300 SGD with sports merchandise). Second place (150 SGD with sports merchandise). Third place (75 SGD with sports merchandise).
8. All prizes will be awarded on the last day of the VOXSPORTS Five’s Futsal tournament. Absence from the event will result in a forfeit of the prize(s).
9. AzVOX Media and Communications reserves the right to change the contest rules without prior notice and also reserves the right to ban any entry that has not been deemed appropriate.
10. All information collected is confidential but may be used by AzVOX Media and Communications for our own marketing purposes.
11. All results released are deemed to final.
