It was a close fight as Jonas and Hong Chuan of the 2 men team fought to win the 2 on 2 men’s elite championship spot in SPIKE 2010. After winning the first set by a small victory of 2 points, both men had to work hard to keep their advantage over their competitor.
The final nail biting finish presented a few close shaves for Jonas and Hong Chuan with their competitor edging ahead of them in the second set. With a few well executed saves near the 21 point mark, Jonas and Hong Chuan managed to yet again surge ahead of the competition and thus earning them the coveted trophy and a cash prize of $250 and other vouchers.
The winning team of the 4 on 4 mixed teams showed off a great game by working well together as a group, and their previous experiences in playing volleyball as a team served to help them clinch the trophy
