VIETNAM WINS OVERALL 1ST ASIAN PENCAK SILAT CHAMPIONSHIP

SINGAPORE – 17th April 2011

Vietnam wins the overall 1st Asian Pencak Silat Championship with 11 Gold, 6 Silver and 4 Bronze. Singapore on the other hand clinched 2nd with 5 Gold, 3 Silver and 10 Bronze. The 3rd overall falls to Indonesia with 5 Gold, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze.

The best Pesilat Putra (Male) is Saripal Effendi from Indonesia with Category Senior Male B while the best female Pesilat Putri is Saiedah Said from Singapore with Category Senior Female C
