3. What was your feeling after the IVP Final against Temasek Polytechnic?
We were disappointed to have lost 0-3 in the IVP final against TP. We tried our best but unfortunately, the better team collectively won.
4. The match was very intense even from the beginning. What was going through the team’s mind in the game?
Having played TP before in the group stages and lost narrowly 3-2 to them, the team was determined to learn from its past mistakes and put on a better performance. However we made far too many mistakes at crucial moments, which TP took advantage of.
5. What was the strategy against Temasek Polytechnic?
Our strategy was to make use of our height advantage to block TP’s attacks and rely on our powerful attacks to provide us a platform for victory.
6. What do you think was the greatest strength of the NTU Team?
The strengths in the team were making use of our height to aid us in blocking TP’s attacks and using our fast attacks from our quickers with the addition of added firepower from our open spikers.
7. What do you think was the greatest weakness of the NTU Team?
We need to improve on our reaction and in the setting up of our attacks.
8. What is your vision and goal for the NTU Team for 2010?
My vision and goal for the NTU team is for them to learn from these mistakes and grow stronger together as a team so that we can fulfill our potential in future competitions.
9. Is there anything you would like to say to the NTU fans out there?
I would just like to say thanks for those NTU fans that have come to watch our matches. We may not have won this time but we will be back stronger.
