The PNG team stopped over in Singapore for two practice games on their way to their ICC World Cricket League Division II tournament in Dubai.

The PNG team played two 50 over games against the Singapore national team on Friday 1st April and Sunday 3rd April at the Kallang Cricket Ground. In the first game PNG won by a cliffhanger by 1 wicket and on the Sunday Singapore leveled the series by beating PNG convincingly by 30 runs.
