“Re 0910. That’s wildly ambitious.”
“Re 0910. Bit optimistic, if you ask me.”

0910: I was fibbing a bit when I said I only had two requests for today… I’m going to ask for a bit more than that. There are NINE British players in action and I think we should be aiming for at least two victories. Two of them (Anne Keothavong and Naomi Broady) are playing each other, so you do the maths there. Elena Baltacha, Heather Watson, Laura Robson, Emily Webley-Smith, James Ward, Dan Cox and Dan Evans are our other brave boys and girls flying the flag.
0905: There was a brief burst of sunshine on Centre Court when I arrived at Commentary Box Four a few minutes ago. It didn’t last. At least we won’t see as much of the wet stuff as we did on Monday, though. BBC Breakfast’s Carol Kirkwood is the right person to tell you more: “At the moment it is dry and hopefully it will stay that way. There is a 30% chance of a light shower but hopefully that won’t disrupt play for any significant amount of time.”
0900: Morning all, and welcome to day two of Wimbledon 2011. I’ve only got a couple of requests for the next 12 hours or so, namely less rain than day one and more tennis. That’s not asking for a lot, is it?
