In the Women’s Doubles, Singaporeans Aisyah Bte Latib and Toh Siew Fen were beaten by the Japanese during the 32nd round of the Li-Ning Singapore Open 2010, consisting of Maeda Miyuki and Suetsuna Satoko, both of whom had far more experience than our local players.

Though the Singaporean duo lost 4-21 and 7-21, they maintained their composure and put up a good fight, troubling the Japanese in some parts of the match. The Japanese will move onto the next round while the locals are out of the tournament.
